Have you heard of the most popular Paris guide site『My Little Paris』? It's been two years since I moved to Paris, and I have been a subscriber of "MLP"'s newsletter since a year ago - for the hidden spots, weekend flea-market, designer's private sale...all the most "now" and "IT" happening/info in the city of Paris that a real Parisian must know. (It is also good for practicing my daily french reading...)
Just a while ago, as one in a million of their readers, I was luckily invited to MLP's office in Paris' 9th arrondissement for the launching of "My Little Box" in Japan. There, I met miss Fany, founder of My Little Paris, in the cutest ever apartment-offices in Paris.
5 years ago, Fany started My Little Paris by sending the Parisian lifestyle newsletter to 50 of her friends from home after work. The word of mouth spreads quickly, in 5 years, MLP hit more than a million subscribers without a single advertisement, also the office was moved from Fany's very own apartment to a former residence 5-floors-flat. However, the atmosphere of "working from home" and "letters between friends" hasn't changed ever since. The top floor rooftop garden with a Sacré-Coueur view , the open kitchen cafeteria, the meeting room where all the lovely Parisian woman's ideas were inspired and created, the office of MLP founder Fany's... the entire cozy home-like office is decorated with MLP's official illustrator Kanako's works from the ceiling to the floor.

Inside the open kitchen you can find the cute mugs with illustration of the staffs on drawn by Kanako, MLP's official illustrator.
The screen inside the former living room displays the current number of the subscribers to My Little Paris and My Little Box.
At the end of the corridor is Fany's office
A few "My little Boxes" were on her desk
Let's check what are inside the box:
Here the theme of this month's surprising beauty box is "My little Riviera box": a red suitcase tag with a pair of sunglasses for your summer voyage, a travel size Rene Furtere hair mask for damaged hair after the beach, foot care cream, after-sun body cream, and a small "My Little World" booklet containing beauty, fashion, and city guide information.
As a "Beauty" box, My Little Box sometimes contains beauty product samples from MLP's partner brands such as YSL Beauté, Givenchy, Kérastase etc. as a surprise to be sent to its subscribers.
The visit to the office continued after checking the "Little Boxes". From the lower floor meeting room where some Parisian girls were having a happy discussion on the next boxes, the engineering department with a big sign "GEEK" decorated on the wall, to the recording studio and the office of the paper-print published "My Little Paris" editing team. Smiles and laughters are seen and heard everywhere - where MLP and MLB were made, inside the family-like dream company.
